The jars have wide neck openings which provides easy access to the jars. Each jar also features a removable easy pour plastic lid for liquid contents as shown in the end pictures. All of the jar openings are approx 10cm wide so wide enough to place you hand inside to take anything from the bottom of the jar.

Really does hold 3L
I bought this to save used strained chip and doughnut frying oil and am so happy with this purchase! Thick heavy-duty glass body means I can check contents easily and makes washing up such a large item less worrying - the jar copes nicely with occasional bumps and thumps. The lift handle is fixed separately from the outer screw-down cap so no worries it will come away when lifting a full jar if I've not got the cap fully seated. The lift handle and outer and inner lids are made from a robust plastic and really do form an airtight seal to preserve contents perfectly. I love the inner lid - it snaps on/off easily but stays on firmly when using the pouring spout to add oil back into the fryer tank. The mouth of the jar is wide enough that I can use an elastic band to hold a chef's cloth square over it (be sure to make a 'depression' to avoid spillover) whilst straining used oil. I'm buying another so I'll have one for chip oil and the other for doughnut oil.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
