Hornby at its best
I was a little reluctant about buying this as its the railroad version. Having the older model upgraded to dcc sound i decided to give this ago. This model is far superior to the older model and almost as good as the current high end model. Detail is 1st class and the new motor and chassis are excellent. Okay the power car has no lights or dcc socket but thats easy to add in time. If this did not say railroad you really wouldnt be thinking its just a cheaper model aimed at kids! Its a shame the dummy has no lights but thats my only complaintbut it very easy to add them along with a 2nd sound decoder. Well done hornby.
