quality part and a massive saving
BMW F11 Angel eye not working. BMW quoted £430 plus £100 coding. Went to a salvage yard who suggested Ebay. Search under the original part number off the BMW part or give them a call. Ordered this part, arrived in the time stated and BOOM its plug and play no coding needed. Takes longer to get the wheel off and the arch lining than it odes to fit the part, although it could probably be done with removing these bits but why make life difficult. Part itself isn't clearly OEM quality in relation to the plastic casing but how cares and the original BMW part is in no way £400 better. Will buy a second one shortly to keep as a spare as not doubt as the other side will go. My dealer stated they sell 25 of these a month so it goes to show how often they fail. Fixed my problem with a headlight.
I had a problem with one of the headlights on my BMW - "angel eye" wasn't working and I've been getting "headlight vertical aim control failure" error after an automatic car wash (avoid those if you like your car). Stopped working after 6 months. Bought 2. Both stopped about 6 months.
I bought two of these at different times to fit on right and left of the vehicle. The modules are supposed to have a two year warranty. They both stopped working after 6 months! They would not replace one of the modules. Don’t buy this item! Waste of money and your time!
