Good batteries
This is the second one I have bought. Higher capacity (3Ah) than the orriginal Makita batteries which were 1.3Ah. They fit perfectly but only time will tell whether they hold their charge as well. Being NimH type they should not get the 'memory effect' like the old NiCd so should outlast the originals by a good margin. Very pleased with these batteries so have bought a pair of 12v ones for my smaller Makita drill.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

THESE ARE VANON NOT EXPERT POWER BATTERY
On the photo and description the battery was EXPERT POWER brand boasting charged weight of 996g, reality was sent a battery that was called VANON with a charged weight of just 718g. took ten min to fully charged and lasted just a couple cut on the jigsaw befored they were flat again , in other word they were worst then the flat battery I tried to replace in the first place, total was of money. I cannot say how good or bad the EXPERT POWER was as I was sent these RUBBISH VANON ONES .

Works for Me
There are so many numbers for the variants that deciding which might be the right one is daunting. However, It works with the old charger and has drilled some holes with what is now a 13 year old drill. Its now just for hobby DIY and this it is performing well at :) The make is Vanon if you have any prejudices I have a few replacement 'Vanon' batteries and have no complaints. Replacement battery is functioning well
This battery has replaced the original Makita Ni Cd battery which was self discharging, without any use, within a few hours of charging, The original was only 1.3Ah and this replacement is 3 Ah and is NI-MH type so it lasts much longer in use. My existing charger will charge it without a problem. However I have only used it a few times so I don't yet know if it will continue to function well in the future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good light weight battery
The items do exactly what you expect, charge them up and plug them in. The product feels quite robust which is in keeping with the original battery and it is not particularly heavy which is good when your using the drill above head hight. Very dissapointed in performance.
charged fully before use, this battery supposedly rated at 4.6 ah lasts significantly less time operating my 18v drill than the 2.6ah battery ( 8 years daily use) it was meant to replace so for me they are junk, dont wast your money folksVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
