Ya for beveling
Yes sure you can buy plates that are slightly cheaper...and last maybe 1 pass in your machine (I wont be making that mistake again), but with these official, you have the backing of the brand, no sliced fingers from the sharp edges and no stab wounds from the nasty corners that cheap plates can seek out to give you. Replacement cutting plates
As I use my die cutting machine frequently (most days) these are one of the things which need to be replaced. I flip and rotate the plate to try to increase the time it takes to become shaped like a banana but even so over time a new flat plate is necessary. To make the cutting plates last longer I only replace 1 at a time and I keep another labelled set for embossing. I write on them with a Sharpie because they are clear so they can get 'lost' on my table. I have bought a pair of Sizzix plates which are coloured brown which are easier to find on my table but clear plates or coloured plates all work well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sizzix = good quality
All Sizzix products are innovative, good value and easy to use. I bought these Big Shot cutting pads to use with my Big Shot Switch Plus for small dies instead of using the larger pads supplied with that machine. They will save wear and tear on the larger cutting pads, plus they are quicker to go through the machine and will be cheaper to replace. Sizzix cutting pads
I am so pleased i ordered these plates i have a big shot plus but i wanted to buy some smaller plates for when i use the smaller dies was a bit dubious as i bought last week a set of supposedly compatible plates for cutting machines i ran them through once through my machine and bot plates cracked immediately i was a bit feared to run these new ones through but to my delight perfect plus i wasn't sure what would happen with smaller plates but true to the description saying they could be used on bigger machines to my delight worked perfect delivery was super quick packaging excellentVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality and great to cut small dies
Good quality pads and great for smaller die cutting. I have used the item several times and noticed a little 'bending', but this is something, as far as I am aware, that happens due to the die cutting process. Original and best
I recently tried a pair of "compatible" cutting plates which cracked in half after the second use! I have now gone back to the genuine Sizzix cutting plates. handy to have a spare
