Dog Calmers
My dog, a Staffy hates being in the car and cries (and if you hear a staffy in full cry for an hour you won’t be able to hear anything else let alone the radio) from the minute she gets in and when we get to where we are going I soon as I open the door flies out before I can get out. Before I bought these tablets I read the reviews and they all seemed to be positive, one person said they worked instantly, they might have done for them but they don’t work for my dog. What they do do is if you give them the prescribed amount on a daily basis they will make your pet sleep a lot but won’t calm the pet when needed. I tried them basically because I thought they were cheap and if they didn’t work I wouldn’t be a great deal out of pocket, which I’m not I hope this review is published and can help other pet lovers who hate seeing their pets stressed out. Give it time!
This definitely works but takes a few days to get into system. Saw a vast improvement after 4 days and felt I could cut back on dosage as my dog was sleeping a bit too much. Made no difference at all ☹
Bought these for my miniature poodle who shows anxiety around people and lurches to get to other dogs whilst on the lead. No problem off the lead....except when we stop and sit (have a picnic etc.) and she feels the need to guard us as a group...lurches at dogs walking by us and barks at everyone walking by. She also barks and kind of 'screams' when I return to the house and takes ages to calm down. Been on the tablets for 12 days now and there is no difference whatsoever...so no good at all for my dog. Im glad it didnt cost me much
All I can say is im glad this was a low price product. I can only speak from my experience but I bought these for my 20wk old puppy who is really hyper and doesnt settle when travelling and turns into a nervous wreck over fireworks (yes where I live you get fireworks every saturday night around 9:30pm). I bought these tablets to try and settle him down a bit but they didnt make any difference at all. I tried persevering with them but nope it was completely pointless in giving him them. The only positive out of it all was that Marley got a bit of his favourite cheese where I had hidden the tablets. I have a dog who is very nervous of fireworks and load bangs. I ordered these. In the box it says that they could take a week to get into the dogs system. I gave 2 to my dog he weighs about 20kg.
