A dog behaviourist recommended it to me and it works
It's pricey, but it has my 11 1/2 month old puppy coming back for the first time. Has a long buckle which can be cut to any size, the vibration mode (only one I use) is gentle (I use it on 15-20 percent), it's easy to wipe down and is fully waterproof.

Good choice for small dogs.
This collar is small and lightweight. The usual contact points are replaced with a smother plastic surface. This collar would work well for smaller dogs and puppies, but I don't say that casually because it does have an impact and great care should be observed in its use. Also, the collar isn't easy to use on a pup with a thick coat around the neck. The shock setting might be inconsistent which can lead to confusion. If your smaller dog has a very thick coat, you may have to shave the neck area. But if your dog is sensitive, as my dog is, the vibration is learned very fast and that is all you'll need. Our collar is used to train my Belgian Shepherd puppy to keep away from the road and stay nearby on hikes. This collar is well made and easy to use. Charges quicky and works on smaller, sensitive dogs. Def recommend and would buy again.
