A change for the better
I changed to this shaver after years of using a 3 head rotary type. This is a better design for my beard although nothing electric shaves like a safety razor. This shaver was quite a bit more noisy than the other design but I have become used to it. It is easier to clean with a simple foil cassette removal and a dust off of the cuttings. Length of shave time seems more than adequate before the battery needs recharging. I have not tried it in wet shave mode.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This shaves just fine. However this is the second one I have bought(First not from this seller) and they only last just under three years. The foil and cutter replacements are expensive and the batteries gave up just before it was three years old. Replaced Philishave
