Perfect for very good quality sound at a very good price as long as not left unattended to volume idiots.
Having done a lot of research and finding myself unable to afford Yamaha DXR range, I can safely say that these are an excellent cheaper option for this who want quality and power in a full range compact PA speaker. It's really very good and hasn't disappointed. It's not one to be left to other people to look after though as the combined gains for music and mic mean that one could easily blow the tops if you don't understand what you're doing with the gains. Personally not an issue for me, but maybe not ideal for use as unattended hire speakers. Other than that, no qualms at all about recommending this speaker. I'm pairing them with an Alto sub and the sound is really quite excellent.
Having used EV, FBT, RCF, i must say that Altos TS315 are on par with the well known branded speakers in there cost range. There are alot of non believers about these speakers but these pack a punch, sound good & very well constructed. I have used these for 150 guests & they have coped without distortion, im so impressed with them i will add a couple bass bins soon for that extra power if needed. As long as you keep within the recommended volume levels (i leave it at 12oclock, you still have headroom for more power) you wont have any problems.
