Coffee at its best
The best coffee ever is anytime you can brew it through a vacuum process. I have used this type of brewing for the past 12 years. I alway bought from a different company but I am very glad they brought this one out. I love the brand.... Its a good brand & it’s glass. The major downfall before was the pots were plastic. Great Coffee, bad handle design :-(
There is a problem with the design of the handle. In 2 out of 2 units we purchased, the handle broke off from the pot at the top end. One I wired back together and it worked, but looked bad. The other, I sent back after noticing the handle was loosening up after just a couple days. A shame, as this is a really fun coffee maker that makes great coffee! Best coffee ever ! Have a large collection of vintage Sunbeam "Coffeemaster" pots, but this is just as good as any of them, and much faster. No keep warm feature, which is a small liability, but I put the coffee in a thermos after brewing, and it keeps hot, and tastier than if it sat on a hotplate. It is easy to clean if you are used to a siphon brewer, and looks fab on the counter ! Great Coffee Maker
The best coffee you can drink. We use double distilled water and organic coffee to make our coffee and when we order coffee at restaurants, coffee shops, etc. it is always a disappointment compared to coffee made in our KitchenAid Siphon Glass coffee maker. The only downside is the cleanup takes longer than usual but is acceptable knowing you have wonderful coffee to look forward to the next morning. One additional caveat is that the top cap is made of plastic and may break when dropping to a hard floor. We ordered addtional caps and bought this KitchenAid on eBay as our backup coffee maker in case we accidentally break any of the glass components.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
