Much More Than Glorified PVA Glue
I used to think Mod Podge was just a glorified PVA glue until I bought some in a sale and tried it. It quickly became a staple in my arts and crafts stash. It can be expensive from some retailers but it's worth shopping around to find it at a reasonable price and once you've tried it you won't want to use anything else. It's great as a glue, sealer, and finisher, especially with the different types of finishes that they now make. It is particularly good for decoupage but I've used it in lots of different art and craft projects. You can experiment by mixing it with different things to make your own finishes to. I'm sure there are many other uses that I haven't tried or thought of. Because it is so versatile you save money by not having to buy separate mediums to do different jobs, so it's definitely more than just a glorified PVA glue!

For sealing painted pebbles
This product was recommended by a friend for sealing painted pebbles which are hidden for children to find in locals parks. It's nontoxic so good for me as I have pets. But, if you want your sealed item to be waterproof I'm not sure this fits the bill as when I'd left my painted pebbles outside in the rain, the appearance of the pebble was cloudy. Shoes saviour
I bought this after reading recommendations to use it to sort my shoe problem, basically long dress catching and plucking on glitter shoes! I bought this , barely used any and gave my shoes three coats which made them smooth and then they no longer caught on my dress. I used barely any and have what would look like a whole unused tub left.
