Yet to use, but will be..

Due to restoration project I know I will be needing these type of things. For what they are size's and quality good value. After using then I may update review if I remember.

  • Most critical review

    3 piece puller set

Not great hardly any tolerance for undoing the nuts. Very stiff to use. Thought buying this brand would be better. Bit disappointed

  • Mondeo hub removal

The pullers were purchased with the intention that they were to be used to pull the front wheel bearings from a Mondo mark three hub carrier. After removing the hub carrier I found that there was not enough of a crank on the legs to circumvent the bearing housing: This was a pity, because the feet of the puller did fit into the gap between the hub and the carrier's bearing housing. The legs were too stiff to manipulate initially, requiring the nuts and bolts to be slackened; having done so however, one of the nuts came off, the bolt fell out and the leg fell off. I would suggest that 'nylock' nuts be fitted to all bolts, allowing a precise amount of slack without the loss of the pivot bolts. The pullers seem reasonably adequate for light to medium work; the fact is though that I have not had the opportunity to put tem to the test

  • Good engineering no frills.

This is a traditional bearing puller set. I brought it to replace some pump bearings and it did the job with no hassle.

  • Poor quality. Waste of money.

Poor quality product. Waste of money (£10.05). I would not recommend it. Better spend few more quid and buy something better. I was trying to remove two different size bearings but the puller slides off. I asked friend to help me, he took his own puller (bit more expensive...£40) and job was done in few minutes without any issues.

  • Three piece puller set

A set of three sturdy pullers which are reversible of internal or external use. They appear to be well made and worked well for me (although, I have only used the largest one so far).

  • Good for the money

As title says, they are good for the money but do not expect high quality. At first i had to loosen all the bolts of the arms to move freely. Next i had to spray the entire unit with penetrating oil to lubricate all the connections and especialy the center adjustment bolt to turn freely by hand. After these are ready for use.

  • Get what you pay for

Don’t expect these to last any longer than one job, made of cheese and the threads are so loose they crossthread in seconds, arms are all different lengths due to the holes not being drilled in the right place. Sorry but spend more and get some better ones.

  • excellent

when it arrived (bang on time)i might add i looked and thought mmm it was a bit fiddly to start with as new tools you have'nt used before are but soon gotthe hang of it i found it best to slacken the brackets first (just a little bit) not a lot half a turn and then i lined it up and abracadabra hardy any pressure and the crank pulley came off turn by turn thanx lads it got me out of a load of trouble with my lexus is200 but while its been off the road for two weeks it gave me an excuse to go and buy me a merc c270 cdi (she still isnt talking to me lol thanx agaiin Jeff
