May need safety check
This is my second purchase of this item. After a month of use of the first one, the thin metal rod holding the two folding flaps on the right side fell off. In consideration of safety I have stopped use and bought a new one. Unfortunately after two weeks of use, the same thing happened on the same side and the rod fell off. Had this not happened, this was exactly what I was looking for, and being able to fold the step would have been an extra-plus. Please do look into this matter in view of avoiding future safety problems. Ps. Good idea but not very sturdy.
It was very flimsy and we have had to put two building bricks underneath it to make it a bit more sturdy. I am not particularly heavy, just average so I would be worried if someone heavy where to use it. Not fit for purpose
I bought one for use in my motorhome. I weigh 165 pounds and am disabled. It broke on the third time of using! Thinking it must be me, I bought another. We went away and it broke in the second week. Disappointed
It seemed excellent to begin with. I bought when I had my second hip replacement to help me in and out of the house. It was sturdy and was pleased with my purchase before one side collapsed and broke. Luckily I was over the worst stage of recovery.
