Highly recommend.
Bought this to use with the AWUS036NHR Version 2. Works perfectly, the only issue I had is that if connected through wireless to R36 the download / upload speeds and the connection quality are worse than if connected to R36 using the Ethernet cable. I think the wireless capability of R36 may not be as good as that of other routers available on the market or there could be interferences between the AWUS036NHR and R36 wireless signals. To remedy this problem I turned off the wireless signal in R36 and had to purchase the ALPHA AHPE305 powerline adapter to get the signal transmitted to another room where the connection is needed. I am using a Cisco router in that other room to convert this back into Wireless signal and also through an Ethernet cable from the Cisco router.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

ALFA R36 Portable Wireless 802.11n WiFi USB Router
Neat little wireless modem. While it may not get you "blazing" speed, I average 6-12 Mbps which allows viewing streams online. Also you can secure your private "hotspot" with wpa/wpa2. Required firmware download for R36 to work with AWUS036NH...
We'll trying it out of the box, it did not allow WAN to function when the AWUS036NH was attached and setup, taking me a few hours to diagnose a hardware/software issue. I later found a note in the shipping container that if I use a AWUS036NH I needed to download a firmware update and install it for the R36, after doing this it performed great using the enclosed instructions. Tip: Firefox browser allowed me to read the .ti site that displayed in a foreign language from English when viewed in IE.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wifi Magnet - Pull It All In!
This router combined with the AWUS036NH make for a great combination in an RV! Camp Wifi and free Wife (like McDonald's) work great in their building. But what if you're across the street or the farthest space from a Wifi repeater? Low/no signal and no Wifi. This pair will pull in the Wifi and rebroadcast it within your RV so the whole family can use it! It's a little tricky to set up. Go on YouTube and follow one of the tutorials. The only other thing I had to do was get the correct driver for my Windows 10 laptop. With that, everything worked like butter! If you add a gain antenna like a yagi, you can pull in Wifi from over a mile away (assuming nothing is in the way, that is). Product came promptly and in great shape. Fine packaging. Bit tricky to set up but works seamlessly
Plugged it into the AWUS036NH range extender. Setup (like the range extender) took awhile to figure out configuration, but when I finally got it the range extender/router system worked seamlessly. If you're "slow" like me at setting up electronic equipment, there's plenty of online help and at the ALFA web page. Alfa R35/AWUS036NH Works in RV, but drops signal occasionally
I installed the R36 router connected to an AWUS036NH antenna in my RV and so far it is working well with one exception. Usually, on the next day, it will have lost its signal and I have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in to reboot it and then it's fine again for another 24 hours. But that beats the heck out of not having any Wi-Fi service at all in an RV park and it also allows all the devices in my RV to have access to the internet too. I love this product
I have what I call a fish house out by my bass pond which is about 300' from my house that I use for fish frys and I wanted wifi out there so I could use my computer to listen to I heart radio, Sirius xm, or even watch on demand. So after I installed the directional antenna, alfa wifi adapter and the r36 I'm able to do it all.
