So glad I decided to get one
Although this is not going to replace your "big" hoover this vac is great. I have 3 grandchildren who are with me quite a lot and we have the inevitable crumbs etc. They thoroughly enjoy hoovering these up, timing each other so that the sharing is fair. my floors have never been so clean! The charge is great-- over 40 minutes depending on the mode used and for general hoovering around the rooms it is very good. Obviously it is not going to be as deep a clean as by a corded 1500w but as a quick clean up it is fab. The fact that there is no cord makes such a difference. No plugging in and out constantly and so light to carry around. This model with its rotating brush is quite thorough. The collecting bin is small but relatively easy and quick to empty --- think this is the only thing I would think a disadvantage but then if you know that in advance it is easily out weighed by the positives above.

Does not pick up well
Good: very easy to use. Like the cordless, very light weight. Like how the handheld comes off Bad: not good suction (very sub-std compared to Dyson). Because of the handheld you cannot get right under furniture to reach to the wall. Not very good for those with lots of pet hair or long hair, all tangled around the spindle.

Just the job!
Did some research before deciding on the Morphy Richards cordless and so glad I did. A lot cheaper than other brands ands does the job well. Picks up diets om carpet and laminate without having to change the setting. Love the charging stand too so it is always ready to use. Dust collector is small but relatively easy to empty but this needs to be done regularly. Make sure you click it back in correctly because I have picked it up and this has fallen out a couple of times but luckily no damage. I would certainly recommend this cleaner.

Great wee two in one
Formerly a GTECH Airram user, I was after a new cordless cleaner when my GTECH stopped sucking and started shrieking and I couldn't afford a new Airram. This cleaner has powerful suction, cleans pretty close to the skirting in upright mode and conveniently carries a handheld along with you to get to the fiddly bits. The only downsides I have discovered is that the tools for the handheld are stored not on the upright but on the charge stand, which is a tad inconvenient as you have to plan ahead and take them with you. The dust reservoir is not that big and must be emptied every time and, as I have long hair, needs a bit of assistance to empty rather than just falling out. If I were to redesign this cleaner I would store the tools on the upright and change the emptying feature so that it does not require the use of fingers to empty. I am using the cleaner in a two bedroomed house, largely carpeted and it does the whole house easily on one charge. It does an equally good job on laminate/lino floors as it does on the carpet. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fantastic quality product at a great price
I am not a fan of budget cordless vacuums. They are usually badly made, seem to break easily and don't actually clean well. I was debating spending hundreds of pounds on an expensive model but then saw this and thought it looked worth a try. And I'm so impressed! It's sturdy, it's easy to use and it works!!! A cut above other vacuums in this price range. I'd definitely recommend it.

Best Hoover I've purchased
