The dock looks good and compliments the Thinkpad X1 Carbon visually. It would be better if it would stand on end similar to previous Lonovo docks as takes more space lying on its side.

Plug, play, faultless!
I bought this to use with a Lenovo ThinkPad work laptop T490s, which has only one HDMI output. It came with a 90W UK power supply and a USB-C cable. I have two 1920x1200 displays on my desktop connected to the dock with DisplayPort, Ethernet, keyboard, and mouse, and the dock connects with a single USB-C to the laptop, and everything works instantly.
