Superior Internet streaming features but not as good as the more expensive 4K version.
Cheaper than the 4K version so well worth testing at home. If having a 4K HD TV then get the 4K box instead. The current basic box has been developed and improved and now includes extra features and free services for streaming purposes as well as free TV and films. So explore and keep exploring while you can to get better adjusted to what's on Freeview and beyond when using the Internet as well. Check the Settings to learn what can help during the installation. Register with Catchup TV services and On-Demand subscription services. Use the PC to set up various screen codes to get the TV paired with the box.Visit the website links to register there and use the codes that make the TV work. Check with Netgem Customer Support if necessary to make things work. The standard price has changed ober time so why pay the more excessive prices when there's no need? Many boxes were bought and some customers didn't use these for long. Some boxes are being sold as new based on such little use. Perhaps as opened yet not used or even as unwanted gifts. Don't blame the box when the UK has different Freeview reception difficulties for various postcodes and local transmitters and even the use of TV cables and extension cables or the use of signal boosters. What works for you is all that matters so upgrade if necessary to a better Freeview aerial or just get Sky or Freesat installed. By the way, some HD TVs have a satellite receiver connector on the back panel which can be used wih a Sky dish cable feed into the living room.
