One of my favorites
I’ve purchased 2 DX80 lights and this light just floods the area you’re in and is extremely bright on the highest two levels although it heats up fast on what I call turbo and will reduce power quickly as it builds heat. Battery is built in the handle and will require the purchase of an extremely expensive handle battery combination. A light of this size is somewhat heavy but depending on your arm and wrist strength it could be carried by hand for long times and there isn’t any good attachment points to hook up a strap, this should be considered beforehand. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Realistically - The reason anyone purchases this flash light is for the turbo mode. It’s amazing. Are there another modes, of course. Are you going to carry a 2-pound flashlight for a walk around the neighborhood, no, unless your goal is to stun an oncoming bear. On the other hand, for non-lethal home invasion defense... Imalent DX80 gone bad in less than a month
I only used for 4-5 times (about 30-40 minutes each time). After second charge, about 20 minutes of use on 1500 lumens, it switched by itself to the lowest mode (120 lumens) and started flickering. When you push the control switch, the display shows the modes (as if it goes through each mode), but in fact it does not change from the lowest mode, and keeps flickering.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

1 bad a** light get you one
This flashlight is very bright and just what I need for looking at areas that need to be lit up so I can see if I have trespassing on my property.
