It might be my fault
When I first used, I had flat laundry (pillow cases, T-shirts, underwear, etc.). I then tried larger items which required some folding to fit the width of the rollers. The rollers spun a few times (hand crank turned but roller wouldn't engage). I released the tension when this happened. Now it seems that the 'spinning' happens more frequently and I must reduce the pressure to such a degree that I am able to squeeze out water from some of the laundry using my hands to wring.
