Great bulb for older cars
I have these fitted to a mk2 polo. I used to use them with an uprated wiring loom with power straight from the battery. This was problematic for other drivers as using this setup was way too bright. I used to get flashed at least once on every night journey with them on dipped. I removed the extra wiring loom, went back to the standard setup and found this better. Still a vast improvement over the stock bulbs but also not a nuisance to other road users. Simple to fit, noticeable improvement over stock bulbs, still using the same set after nearly 3 years. Cost more than stock but i feel they are fairly priced for the amount of improved visibilty and so far, the longevity.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I expected better from Osram...
I bought these bulbs thinking that they would be a worthwhile upgrade, especially as Osram are a long established manufacturer of all types of car and home lighting equipment and bulbs. On the pack these 'Night Breaker' bulbs claim to offer up to 100% more light. Certainly with a name like 'Night Breaker' you might reasonably expect them to do just that. I installed them in my headlights and the result was quite disappointing. They really didn't seem much brighter than standard headlight bulbs and had the same yellowish light. Great upgrade.
My ignis sport failed MOT due to HID bulbs fitted that became a fail last year. To pass the test the station returned it to standard halogen but output was not just bad but dangerously so. Brightness in the dark
I put these wonderful bulbs in my car, my mum says they are brighter than me! She don't know diddly! She don't even go out so her view is not valid. That said they are not as bright as all thay new cars with lights what can see into the future! Good bright bulbs for those with a limited budget
Brilliant bulbs for the price. Bought to replace rather poor standard halogen bulbs on my van. I wanted some xenon style bulbs, but had a budget of around £12. Nightbreaker Laser are around the £20 mark. So I thought I would try the Silver range instead. I wasn't disappointed. The view distance has increased, although I can't confirm it is 100m, it is definitely a lot more than the 10-20m I was getting on the old bulbs. The light quality is quite crisp and view quality is good out to maybe 60-70m. I also upgraded my sidelights to Osram's Cool Blue Halogen bulbs at the same time.
