Genuine / OE Parts are the best fit
These little 'Bungs' are designed to cushion your luggage / panniers from rattling against the Kappa or Givi frames on your bike. If, like me, you've had the luggage frame for a while you may find that the original bungs will wear down, perish or simply get lost over time. I've tried to source cheaper, suitable alternatives, but find that the genuine article is the only genuinely good fit. Sadly, due to the design, it's very difficult to re-locate them, should you fit them to the wrong mount (yes, that can happen) and they don't represent great value (for what is a couple of moulded bits of rubber). However ,they do exactly what they're designed for, with the minimum of fuss. Anyone should be able to fit them and at least it stops the (considerably more) expensive rack for rattling and getting damaged.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The size of the thick part is correct. Only the thick end of the tapered end is too small. Experience learns that even the original Givi bungs get lost from time to time, despite the fact that their thick part of the tapered end is a bit thicker.
