The Evolution RAGE 5-S Multi-Purpose Table Saw cuts through a variety of materials including plastic, mild steel, non-ferrous metals, wood and even wood with embedded nails, all with a single blade. Meaning you are never required to change blades, for faster work and less downtime. When cutting mild steel the saw produces no heat, no burrs and virtually no sparks. The cuts are clean and cool to touch, creating an instant workable finish. With a fully adjustable blade, with a rise and fall (0-80mm) and the tilt capacity (45 to the left hand), for great cutting versatility and a sliding carriage system is available to the left-hand side. The mitre gauge with an adjustable face-plate incorporates quick-access positive angle st.

Good saw but, assembly instructions a nightmare.
The machine itself is well designed, and a pleasure to use. Evolution have made several well thought out improvements. However, assembling the thing I found a nightmare, small, fuzzy black and white photos and a text that I found difficult to follow. I assembled it wrongly twice. In the end I saw a guy assemble it on You tube. He of course, made it look easy. As I followed his technique, I made a series of sequential screen shots which I then took into my workshop and used them to finally assemble the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I should have bought it earlier
Assembly can be a bit of a trial but it's worth the effort. Nice clean cuts and the sliding table makes a really useful and helpful addition to a great saw. I only have a small space in my garage so the fact that it folds is also a bonus. The mains lead is quite short and so it's not really useable without an extension cable. The blade mount at the back of the saw is very loose and moves very easily when you fit the vacuum to the exterior hose i had to cut a bit out at the side so i could clamp it at 180 degrees to cut straight

Excellent machine for the money, well built with features only usually found on more expensive table saws such as the sliding table and brilliant multi purpose blade that allows you to cut multiple materials with the same blade. Very sturdy and smooth folding leg stand which enables you to easily move it about. After a small amount of initial set up it makes accurate clean cuts with a very secure solid fence that fixes at both front and back of the table.
