Hi, bought 2 ,just what I needed. Strong enough for the job.a lot length of wire on them. I will not need it all, so maybe I will get some taken off it.the long length would suit someone pulling a small boat or something else. A good winch for all sorts of jobs.
The puller is solid quality and with good strength cables for the job I need it to do. I need it to pull a trailer up a ramp to park it. The tricky bit is to pull the cable out when its new as it was a bit stiff. A good spray of lubricant and fixing it so I could pull the cable out for the first time helps. The catch has to be moved across to release the ratchet and the instructions for that mechanism could have been better explained - hence the 4 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tree pulling
A tree in my garden was leaning dangerously over the boundary. I was able to use this winch to pull it more upright so I could cut off the higher branches, and then cut down the trunk itself.
