Simple but effective at bringing excitement to meal times. I bought the dino one for my 4 year olds bday and then this pirate plate for his bigger 5 year old bro. I wondered if it would be too childish for a 5 year ld but the last 8 meals he insists on using it. He even sets up lunch and dinner in it himself as he loves the compartments. Godsend for parents with picky children!
My 4 year went through a very picky stage and it was a nightmare at mealtimes to get him to actually eat. I found this plate and it is amazing. He loves the novelty of this plate and will happily eat his way around until he reaches the treasure chest. I usually put a strawberry or a small piece of chocolate under the treasure chest as a little sweetness for finishing and it works wonders.
