So far so good :-)
This kettle looks great on my kitchen worktop. Its a little bigger than I thought it might be and therefore not the lightest kettle when filled with water. I like the unusual design of the spout...no drips whatsoever. Quick to boil and the auto shut off kicks in nicely. The fact you can change the coloured panels and lid feature is a bonus though I like my stainless steel look. I only got a one year guarantee but if you purchase it from John Lewis you get a two year guarantee...that doesn't seem fair to me. Its not the cheapest kettle out there. Its performed well so far... let's hope it lasts. Some say the fill indicator is difficult to see...I don't find that..anyway when I fill the kettle I can see how much water I've put in it..you have to open the lid to fill this kettle...no filling through the spout as you could with my previous kettle. Overall I'm impressed so far...a quick wipe keeps it gleaming. I think I would recommend this appliance for looks and functionality...shame about the guarantee issue. Build quality seems good...do remember that if it does develop a fault it cannot be repaired...only replaced under guarantee.

We ordered this kettle to replace our old dualit kettle we had for 15 years. It’s a stylish kettle and does the job of boiling water well. However it’s the loudest kettle I have ever heard. Another great appliance from Dualit
This is my second Dualit kettle. I am replacing one I bought in 2007, which is still going strong but I've just had a kitchen update. I also have my mums old coffee machine; again a Dualit, which must be all of 15+ years old! Really not worth buying any other brand in my opinion. Purchased via Gillmans Appliances who dealt with the order in a speedy manner and the item was well packaged and protected.

Worth the extra cost
