Skeptical at first about such massive price drop however no cause for concern unit was better than new the only damage was to box but hey you don't play the box All the functions worked as advertised remote very easy to use and comfortable in hand the only 'con' the Unit takes excessive long time to shut down from standby mode if press red standby button once PVR remains in standby mode require to press and hold button to confirm PVR turned off. Picture quality and sound superb record controls very easy to understand connected to home network within two minutes catch-up TV mode super cedes requirement for record function Multi Apps available easy to connect external HDD or mem stick next model requires ability to record to external devices. overall five Star satisfaction recommendedVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Quality set top box
I'm comparing it to my previous set top box which was a Bush. The Panasonic picture quality is superior especially SD channels and has twin tuners. It has 500GB of memory which is more than enough for me The box itself looks stylish, I prefer it's shape and look to the Bush. It was a refurbished unit from Ebay but it's condition is perfect, as new, even the controller looks unused. So far I'm extremely happy with the box and hope it lasts as long as my previous one of 10 years.Verified purchase: Yes

Competed to a virgin TiVo box
I had the tv for years. But after ending my contract I am really impressed with this recorder in many ways better. The remote is better and operates my tv with ease.
