Watercolour halfpan set.
Fantastic paint set lovely pastels in these half pans, I make all of my own paint but saw this while looking for empty half pans and the colour range was different to what I use in my books. So I brought it to try on my floral paintings the paints wets up lovely and flows nicely on the page. I was painting a bluebell wood and I could not get the ideal blue and the rose madder, was an excellent choice to mix with cobalt to make the pretty violet blue, so that was my first use of them, a rare old paint to find in this set. Then I was working on a family of giraffes and again I used the rather fantastic little paint transparent brown oxide, a lovely colour that I would never have thought of and it saved me mixing vandyke brown that would have been to dark, for a baby giraffe. So an excellent find again. So I would highly recommend the price was excellent, a good buy all round. Excellent quality travel set with perfect pastel colours.
A perfect set of excellent quality beautifully packaged watercolour pastels, just what I was looking for. Perfect for home or travel with plenty mixing tray space. Very pleased all round although no white but not a problem as room to store a small white tube within the tray.
