the light was not fastened to the pump I used it that way for a couple of weeks just had the light propped up. I pulled it out of the pond because the light was flickering so I tried to pop the rounded piece back into the threaded ring it it came off wires hanging out. Now I have no aeration for my fish. It is a good idea all in one just did not work for me
