BUILT BETTER THAN ATWOOD HEATERS BUT ALSO MORE EXPENSIVE
I USED IT TO REPLACE ATWOOD TANKLESS HEATERS THE FIRST OF WHICH QUIT AFTER 9 MONTHS, I REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER THAT ONLY LASTED 3 WEEKS. I HAD BOUGHT THESE A COUPLE OF YEARS BEFORE INSTALLING SO THERE IS NO WARRANTY. IT WAS SUGGESTED TO ME TO TRY THE BOSCH BRAND BY SOMEONE THAT USES THEM. THE WATER LINES WERE BACKWARDS TO THE ATWOODS AS WAS THE INLET FOR THE ELECTRICAL WHICH MEANT I HAD TO REPLUMB A LINE AND MOVE THE ELECTRICAL LINE. IT IS BUILT BETTER THAN THE ATWOOD LINE BUT SO FAR WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL SEENS ERRATIC. ONE TIME YOU CAN TURN ON A FAUCET AND THE WATER WILL COME OUT TOO HOT AND OTHER TIMES IT BARELY WARMS IT. MY LIGHT ABOVE THE SINK FLICKERS A LITTLE AS THE HEATER RELAYS KEEP KICKING IN AND OUT. MY SECOND ATWOOD HEATER DID THE SAME THING JUST BEFORE BURNING OUT SO I AM WONDERING HOW LONG THIS BOSCH WILL LAST. IT HAS BEEN IN ONLY TWO WEEKS SO FAR SO I WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE IF IT WILL LAST.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
