A useful product which might prove rather flimsy

A useful product and light enough to carry round the garden easily. However, over time the sides might not prove robust enough to assist in standing up from the kneeling position. The underneath of the seat is a very firm plastic substance which I have had to cover with additional softer foam rubber pads which are kinder to the knees. Note that you must turn the kneeler round and kneel on this surface with the cutaway edge nearest to you.

  • Most critical review

ligthtweight but kneeling pad bit too firm

I have fibromyalgia and my knees are very painful as a framework it's very good but have had to add more cushioning so I can continue my favourite hobby. In general I would recommend but have had to adapt for my specific needs.

  • A well designed product

We had the original version of this kneeler - made by TECHNOPLAST - for many years and it still looks good for many more. Sadly they stopped making it. By chance, I found this Draper version, and it is clearly an updated version of the same product - it even stacks together with my older one. It is maybe not quite such a solid build, but time will tell. And the Draper kneeler has a slightly curved seat surface, meaning it is not as useful as a mini tabletop. But overall, a well designed product, and I am delighted it is available again.

  • Draper Kneeler & Seat

The Draper Kneeler is a must in the garden, it helps to have a strong and comfortable means of weeding in comfort and also which helps you rise from the ground if you are of an age that it becomes less easy. Also it has a convenient storage area for some small items like towels etc. Mrs J N

  • Kneeling seat

I bought myself one of these as have arthritis and find it difficult to get back up. Liked it so much I bought my mum one. Amazingly light weight , the lid lifts up so you can put your trowels etc in .

  • Heavy Duty

I think the words Heavy Duty in the kneeler is a bit misleading, the plastic it’s made of seems a bit tacky , the handles are made of two half’s but are not welded together so you can pinch your skin when pulling it about . It was the closest I could find to an old Z&G stool I have , but the quality is not as good .

  • Ok for the money

Useful kneeler, bit lightweight compared to my very o9ld one and the tool box in the seat is too small to be of much use

  • A convenient kneeler in house or garden.

I bought this as the Hoselock kneeler is no longer available. It is lightweight and convenient but the kneeling pad is nor as comfortable as Hoselock. It is a passable substitute but not my first choice
