Qualcast Corded Trimmer review
had a horrible feeling that this item wasn't new. the guard looked as if it had been used, as the razor-type cutter was rusty. as i needed the item very quickly i didn't send it back. the spare cord holder was missing from the handle which was really annoying. i had not got around to pointing out these anomalies before, due to pressure of work. i am going to complain properly to eBay and at the very least to ask them to send me the spare holder. the packaging of the item which i picked up from my local Argos store looked as it someone had already opened it and maybe used the item. i'm not impressed at all. the trimmer itself works well, although NOT in long grass. the line breaks regularly which is a real pain. i DO wish manufacturers would find a way to make a cord which doesn't break. it can't be rocket science! i have to say the motor is strong and works well. it's this line-breaking business which is maddening. it's an awful fiddle to have to keep restringing it, especially when the line gets taught and you have to completely unwind it and start again. Very poor machine .
This strimmer the biggest piece of gardening junk I have ever bought,,,, the line does not feed out even from new it jams and then snaps, the head is almost impossible to move. I could name other problems with design. Do not buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
