Fantastic quality.
I love this Yoghurt maker. Simple design and easy to clean. I have used a Bell Yoghurt maker for around 40 years and thought it was time to treat myself to an up dated model. Got a bit bothered about the instructions on how to make the yoghurt in it, that seemed a bit complicated. I then decided to ignore them and use my usual method and it worked just fine. Couple of teaspoons of live yoghurt in the containers, milk straight from the fridge on top. A quick stir and bobs your uncle it was done and produced really nice yoghurt. I am not so keen on the digital aspect. The buttons didn't seem to respond to well but I imagine I will soon get the hang of them. Great up to a point
It is all great apart from the buttons don't respond easily when you press them and it isn't as obvious as it sound how to set the time and temperature. Great machine really easy to use and makes lovely creamy thick yogurt. I use long life milk which is easier than pasturised as you don't have to heat it first, add 2 tsp yoghurt and away you go. Keep 2 tsp back when you have made your batch for next time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to use yogurt maker.
I'm very pleased with my purchase. My Von Chef Yogurt maker is easy to use the instructions are quite simple. I used uht milk so thier was no need to boil and cool the milk. Just warm it up and set the temp and timer. I also surrounded the jars in warm water before putting on the lid to help it along. This worked like a treat, left it overnight and woke to find lovely fresh yogurt. A few hours in the fridge and it's edible. I bought a packet freeze dried yogurt culture. Bulgarian rose. Delicious!! I'll not go back to shop bought yogurt now. This is far far nicer. Simple and straightforward yoghurt maker.
Have made 2 batches of yoghurt so far from a few teaspoons of a shop bought Greek yoghurt and very pleased with end result. Wanted to get away from plastic waste and the re use glass bottles are easy to wash. This yoghurt maker should pay for itself after a few months. Compact and light, maybe too low in power
Simple, light. Not sure about the precision on the temperature specification, and it's so low consumption that if you put cold milk it will take hours and hours to achieve the desired temperature. Excellent item - makes great yoghurt easily
I love this machine! It's exceeded my expectations in the quality of yoghurt it makes - better than my favourite shop-bought yoghurt. Great yogurt maker
I’ve had mine for 2 years and it’s brilliant. Bought this as a gift as my friend loves my home made yoghurt. There’s lots of different info on the web for making yogurt but it’s a really simple process if you use UHT full cream milk and a small tub of Yeo Valley organic yogurt for your first batch. Just warm the milk in the microwave for a minute or two until it’s lukewarm (not cold, not hot) then stir in a half pot of the yoghurt. Remember to put your yogurt maker on for an hour first with lid on to heat it up. Set the timer to 9 hours for runny yoghurt but I like set yogurt so I put it on for 12 hours. When you have one yoghurt left use that as a starter for your next batch to save buying the Yeo Valley stuff.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
