Product Information
A point-and-click adventure similar to the cabal of Sierra- and LucasArts-developed PC adventures, Stupid Invaders puts players in control of a hapless group of aliens whose craft has crash-landed on earth. The motley collection of five extraterrestrials, with names such as Bud, Etno, Gorgeous, Stereo, and Candy, have taken up residence in an abandoned house while trying to make the necessary repairs to their damaged ship. Bolok, a bounty hunter dispatched by the evil Dr. Sakarin (who wishes to "examine" the Stupid Invaders) has ensnared your friends, and it falls to you, as Bud, to rescue your crew.

Controlling one character at a time, players must interact with the environment using a context-sensitive cursor to look at, manipulate, or pick up objects and talk to characters you may meet along the way. Once acquired, items can be combined or used "as is" to solve the myriad of puzzles that greet you on your journey. Lengthy, fully voiced cut-scenes and animations are used to show the result of your actions (solving a puzzle, or dying for example, will trigger unique scenes) and explain the storyline. A hallmark of the genre is the offbeat humor found in many of its titles, something that is predominant throughout the title.

Stupid Invaders is loosely based upon the Space Goofs cartoon series and features environments fans of the show will recognize, such as Area 52, the group's house and more. Additionally, players can save their progress when desired. The title spans two Dreamcast disks and supports the Dreamcast mouse.Product Identifiers
