Lightweight high quality scanner for photos with colour correction and documents self powered
I've been a fan of Epson scanners because the interface is easy to use and has a powerful scanning application, which can do colour correction, dust removal and sharpening on the fly. Old faded photos are brought to life so much better than apps or other programs I have tried. It has a micro USB cable, quite reasonable length, and no external power supply is needed which is a bonus. Got this to TRAVEL with to the family many miles away with a stash of old photos. Lightweight and small enough to go into international hand luggage with a laptop. Very impressed with the scan quality, the colour correction is remarkable and has to be seen to be believed. It does miss about 3mm from the edges so I use a pair of 15cm rulers to position the photos into the scan area. Document scans are also very good, and it'll create multiple page PDF, you use the DESCREENING to avoid patterning in printed photos, Scanning program works well with Windows 10, and can be downloaded as the software comes on a CD. It will not scan negatives, you need a different scanner for that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
