as good as a brand new one
This machine is working extremely well and is as good as brand new. I do need to make a base for it (or buy) but that would be the case with a brand new machine as well. It came mounted to a 1/8 plywood board which is not good enough to keep using but I did use it anyway like this for a few weeks :) So far I have cut out 20+ 1/2 thick hardwood coasters in the designs of states and 6+ wooden spoons to reduce carving and 1 wooden sign. great deal on this unit- get these while they last
Very happy with this saw so far. It arrived in its original packaging, and the only negative was that the work surface had a couple of purely cosmetic scuffs from the packaging rubbing on it. This was so minimal it is only worth mentioning because it was the only hint that it was a recon unit. Operation is like new. Comparable to a Pegas scroll saw at less than half the cost. Good saw just need better quality control
Like the machine. Had a problem with vibration. Found that they didn’t tighten the motor. It was hitting in the upper arm. Tightened the motor down. Most of the vibration has gone away but still have too much. Other than that the blower lime could be longer.
