Brilliant set of 3 pullers
Couldn't have done the job without one of these excellent pullers - well made and easy to use, and at a cracking price. Can't fault the set. Would have been worth the price for just one, but came as a set of 3 for this money. Not quite up to the job
This is an inexpensive set of pullers that may well be suitable for light use and in circumstances where what it is being used to remove has plenty of clearance and easy purchase for the three jaws to hook onto. Unfortunately, it's inadequate in less than ideal conditions; the puller design is inadequately flexible meaning that there is no room for manoeuvre in terms of the exact placement of the jaws on whatever you are trying to remove. It will either latch on, or it will not. Secondly, when placed under pressure, and because the angle of the jaw is a straight 90 degrees, one of more of the jaws routinely detaches from whatever it's trying to grip. And it doesn't help that the jaws themselves are smooth and relatively frictionless. Ideally, it should have a ribbed surface similar to that of mole grips, and a reduced angle, say 80 degrees instead. As it was, they comprehensively failed to do the job so I can't recommend them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent quality and all the right sizes
I bought this set so I could dismantle electric motors in historic 1960s computer peripherals. I thought I would only need the small (75mm) puller, but I have dismantled three motors so far and used all three pullers. The pullers are top quality with drop-forged (Chrome vanadium?) jaws and blacked screw threads, so they should last a long time even thrown in the bottom of your tool box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
