Great stereo headset! Would have been better if they had updated it's firmware or software.
Nice stereo headset for gaming. This is my second one after trying 5 different ones in between. Great range. Great battery life if you turn off the LED. The only bad thing about this headset is the annoying 20 minute automatic shutoff timer if it doesn't detect audio coming from its speakers. When you listen to things at a low volume, it will still shut off after 20 minutes. It gets pretty annoying if you are talking or listening to someone and it shuts off mid-sentence.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent quality--they sound great, they're comfortable and the audio output is also great
I've worked from home for a long time and have had a number of different headsets, none of them cheap. These, I feel, are the best. I use them mostly for making calls from my soft phone, and the audio sounds fantastic. The people I'm calling tell me my microphone sounds great, too-very clear. I also use them for listening to music or youtube videos, and while you can definitely get better headphones for music, these do all right. The ear cups are large enough to fit completely over my ears and are really comfortable. I wear them for hours without thinking about it. The only thing that took some getting used to was that they do a pretty good job of sound insulation, which made it so I can't hear myself well while talking when I'm on phone calls. It's really just me not being used to it, but if you're like me and your old headset ear cups sort of sat on top of your ears, this might require a little, like I said, getting used to. In the beginning I was shouting at people, LOL. I haven't run out of a battery charge yet, so I don't really know how long the battery lasts, real world, but I've used them for 4+ hours straight with no battery issues. It's also nice that you can use them while they're being charged--my last headset didn't do that, so I always had to make sure they were charged before going into meetings. Overall, the quality and fit and finish appear good. In short, yes, these headphones are marketed as being for gaming, but they work very, very well for phone calls, if you're calling from a computer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

HyperX wireless headset
Recently had a wired headset by HyperX and it was given to me due to a break in the wire. I "repaired" it to the best of my ability and was blown away by how good it muffled out the room and how well it sounded. It eventually broke again and I decided to go wireless. These sound just as great and almost as good at muffling out the room's noise. I will only be getting HyperX in the future. The PS4 GOLD headset is a good buy but a bit heavier.
