On the plus side the Draper wire tensioner is simple and easy to use. On the negative side: the tool is only suitable for tensioning short lengths of wire & then only when stapling the end; the wire gripping jaws are poorly designed & wire falls out easily. Simple, easy to use and robust, it all works as it says on the tin. The only thing I wish is that you could alter the angle that you contact the post, had some fencing on some hilly ground and its a bit of a pain to use but then not seen one that does work on an angle. Useful, simple to use, works for both line and barbed wire.
Useful for smallholders, can do barbed and line wire so good for small scale fencing projects where you are working from post to post.
