Like for like replacement
This was sold at around £13, making it an expensive pump, but £9 cheaper than on the pet mate site. It fits exactly as the original part and works well. The power caple seems to be additionally waterproofed as an improvement on the original part. Only the pump is incuded, requiring the power supply from the original unit to work - so be sure that this is not the source of the problem before buying.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The first one worked for several months then because I had not read the instructions about cleaning the filters it suddenly stopped working. I bought a replacement on line and noticed the instructions on a label taped to the wire. I took the old one apart and found this easy to do, the design is very simple and easy to take apart and clean.
