Big computer, small size
The Intel NUC NUC6I7KYK can hold up to 32 GB of RAM. I put in the full 32 GB along with a 512 GB SSD. This will boot Windows 10 in less than a minute. I have yet to top it out. I know this was advertised by Intel as a NUC for gamers. I have read some gamer reviews that were less than impressed. For what I need and use it for, this little machine is more than fast enough. I just need something to play my media library on. I do some minor recreational programming. I engage in some casual gaming. I have never been tempted to have two of the same model of computer. It Doesn't work at all
WiFi speed is terrible. Tried using Lan and install drivers, it errors out with error no Intel lan card available. Graphics card drivers doesn't get installed. Sound card drivers gets installed but it is not supporting my Onkyo receiver...totally there is nothing good to talk about it. I tried is reinstall twice...I will give last try by talking to Intel support. If that doesn't work, have to return it.sorry..Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

great little machine with some limitations
Amazing little machine. Have the Big brothers (8I7HNK and 8I7HVK) setup for my HTPC and my personal box. TYhis one works well as a HTPC for my bedroom. Loving it so far. Awesome little piece of technology!
This machine is very light and small enough that I carry it around all the time. It runs Linux perfectly and the GPU is powerful enough for light gaming at 720p.
