Good product!
It's as good as the 8 mg cartridges get, price is competitive, and shipping is very fast for the required ground! There are the usual number of duds and some of the boxes will be ripped on the corners. No surprise there as the large box weighs a ton. Even with the chargers empty the local recycling center won't let dump them normally but make me pull up to the backhoe and slide them into the lift bucket. No fault to anyone. It's just a wasteful expensive system. Someone needs to come up with a better system for volume use. But I am a happy camper here. :)
I have yet to see a better system with better pricing per mg. There are a few 16mg chargers out there but they have to be placed in a screw together adaptor to use. I was using them for the pint creasmers until the adaptor came apart while loading. The charger felt like a shotgun shell going through my curled up hand at the barrel end of a shotgun. Luckily it didn't injure my hand but I can't say that for the light it hit and destroyed. It was a shop magnifying glass with the circular fluorescent light bulb for enhanced lighting. I managed to bend the metal so I could replace the light and use it again. But I'm still cleaning the glass up in the work area and don't now if I will ever finish. If you have ever broken a fluorescent light bulb you will know what I mean. The thin glass turns to dust and goes everywhere, getting into everything. It took me a couple of days just to get a couple of keyboards working again. And I felt lucky. I didn't injure my hand or another person in the room as I was alone at the time.
The gas even cost more per mg though it was mitigated by the lack of loss from being able to charge a pint creamer with one, rather than the usual two chargers, thus the leaked gas from removing the first 8mg charger was eliminated. Of course with the 'explosion' loading I lost all 16mg. Not something I thought much about at the time considering the damage done and danger avoided via sheer luck.
