    A pleasant surprise

I am not a person with a huge amount of experience in using chainsaws but last year I bought what was reviewed to be a good brand chainsaw to cut wood for our log burner. Suffice to say it was not a pleasant experience and my wife convinced me to try buying a new chainsaw. I am not very well built and so searched for an 'easy start' chainsaw and found this one on the list. I read some reviews and then ordered it. It arrived on time and was well packaged. I followed the instructions and found it very easy to assemble. I took it outside and filled it with chain oil and fuel mixture, primed it with the bubble as instructed and pulled the cord. After four or five pulls, I thought oh great, here we go again with the fight to start it but thankfully immediately realised that the idiot that i can be had forgotten to switch it on! (What a fud!). I switched it on and the engine fired up no problem. Long story shortened (thank f*** I hear you say), I have used it on three different days now. It definitely is easy start, it cuts substantial sized trunks with ease and I have been surprised with how much use you get from a tank of fuel. Keep an eye on the chain as you go and tighten as required (remembering to loosen the nuts first). So far this has been a joy and I have cut literally tonnes of logs. At the moment I cannot fault this chainsaw especially at this price and simply hope that this continues, thanks.

    Timber pro chainsaw

Found only 2 things wrong with saw there's a vent on gas tank only its more like a hole, so if you get the saw in a vertical position gas was leaking out, the side cover where the pull start is, is weak I already busted some of the venting off if they can correct those 2 things they would have the best saw for the money.

  • Chainsaw

This is an excellent chainsaw for what you pay. 62cc chainsaw has more power or bang for the buck, I would highly recommend this machine to anyone who owns an expensive name brand chainsaw, and compare them. You will NOT be disappointed in any way shape or form...you get everything as seen in the description, easy to start, maintain, make adjustments to...would recommend this machine over name brand products any day of the week....thank you

  • Unbelievable

Great price and with a branded bar and chain the saw out does my stihl ms170. It does struggle on a plunge cut but that's not needed if your just cutting firewood. I'm definitely ordering another and if it only lasts 12 months it'll be well worth the price. It will pay you back in 1 tree felling and processes a felled tree with ease. Downside, crap at cold start and don't flood it. Also make sure your fuel mix is bang on. I fill 5lt can and add 100ml oil (good oil). I bought oregan bar n chain for £36 and it's well worth the price on top of what you pay for the saw. You'll be very surprised by this saw and I have already recommended it too other tree surgeons

  • Excellent chainsaw

Excellent chainsaw, powerful and easy to use. Straight forward to set up. Excellent value for money, cut through thick trees easily, even at 2 foot thickness. Would highly recommend. No need to spend big money on other brands when this will do the same job!!

  • A REALLY GOOD CHAINSAW FOR THE MONEY

I bought this chainsaw some time ago and since then it has had much hard work. It has never let me down. it starts easily and cuts superbly. I find the balance just right. The only niggle I have, is its weight, but that is only because of my shoulder and arm injuries and would not be an issue for others It is a good value, quality chainsaw that I would recommend to others..

  • Powerful and cuts well

This chainsaw seemed to be too good to be true and since my Husqvarna 61 was away for repair i decided to try this one. Delivery was prompt even if parcelforce didnt deliver it to my door but to the local sub post office. It took a bit of fiddling to get the chain and guide bar fitted and tightened up. I followed the instructions to the letter regarding starting it and found that it just wouldnt. It took a wee bit of persuasion using engine start and another plug for it to finally fire up. I tried it out and the chainsaw certainly has plenty of power and the new chain helped cutting. The problem i had was the chain stretched quickly and needs to be kept adjusted. The guide bar is a bit bigger than what I am used to and a 15" option would help. The petrol oil mixing bottle is too big and it leaks making it almost useless. It does what it says on the tin but it isnt a saw for a serious professional more for someone who has need of one on a casual as required basis.

  • Timber pro 62 cc 20 inch petrol chainsaw.

OK it was delivered fast. Instructions on assembly are not very good. After assembling I added fuel and oil at the recommended ration and followed the manufactures instruction in how to start. After 2 hours I gave up.I could not start it at all. I then scoured the Internet and found quite a few posts on this subject. So I had to take the spark plug out and dry it off as the engine was flooded. With the spark plug out and the ignition off I pulled the starter cord 20 times to eject any remaining fuel out of the chamber, do this with the chainsaw upside down. I then reassembled the the chainsaw.primed the bulb 2 times, turned ignition on then pulled the the starting cord 3 times without the choke on and it started. I revved it a few times and it ticked over nice. So what I would say is this. Don't flood it or won't start. Maximum of twice with the choke on then turn choke off and try to start with gripping the trigger as you pull the starter cord.firm hold needed. It was a pain initially to start.but I would recommend this for the price. A good product and a cheap price.

  • Great value for money!

This is a great saw, for very little money. Extra chain comes with it, and it is a very nice machine that start very easy after the first start. First start you need to mix 25:1 gas, fill the saw 1/2 with around 300 ml gasoline 25:1, push the primer 5 times and then pull the choker handle out and pull the starting handle 4-5 times. Now you release the choker and get someone to press the throttle about half way in, while you again pull the handle around 3-4 times, then it start. Now, it's a brand new saw and it's important you don't give it full throttle, and release the throttle again after a few seconds and then place it a secure place and let it run in IDLE all the 300ml gas, until it turn off by it self (around 20 min). Now you can fill it again, and it's ready to use :-) IMPORTANT - remember to lubricate the chain manually before first run with some chain oil, and draw it around a few times until it run freely.

  • Timbrepro 62cc Chainsaw 20 inch w/2x chain

Glad I got the 62cc... Plenty of power & starts on first pull after warm... The start assist was strange at first but does make starting easy... Beats the hell out if my old 1635 McCullough & dose not weigh much more... My only complaint is, & may just be me & my big hands, is the run/kill switch is not in the greatest place... I keep turning it off when I toss it around... But as I said it starts right up & idles just fine till you mash the gas... I did throw the chain after about 10 minutes but after adjustment it is fine... Total assembly time about 10 minutes from box to running/cutting... Very pleased with this purchase & whenever I need a new weedeater I think I will purchase this brand... Less than a week from UK to AZ... A+++... Recommed to any one looking for a bit more power in a larger saw than just a tree trimmer... ...M... ( EVIL ZJ )
