Completely broken laptop and charger.
The laptop arrived refurbished for £135. It looked good as new, although I noticed immediately the charger looked a bit flimsy. I tried it and it didn't work at all - I had to purchase a new charger for £24. The laptop worked well for a week or two, then broke out of nowhere. The 'power on' button is peremenantly lit up, including when i try a hard restart; totally unresponsive otherwise. I'm praying I can recover my dissertation, the latest version of which is on this laptop, and then I guess buy a new one. This is the last time I ever purchase from this company. I’m surprised how good this little thing is, browsing is brilliant, Netflix without a problem, playing games too which was the biggest surprise for me. Working better than laptop I bought for my son last year for 350£. It’s small , light and absolutely quiet. Changed windows for home version and added 128gb fast sd and set it as a hard drive (instruction on YouTube) and redirected downloads the as well as installing programs. I'm really happy with this - so far. Incredibly easy to set up especially for a computer illiterate like me. Cortana talks you through the initial setup stages and pound for pound this is great value for money. It's also very fast which is great.
