Profession-grade, highly reliable piece of equipment
Point of reference: I'm a private homeowner on a heavily treed one acre of property. Have had a 300-Series Echo backpack blower for many years, but always used a Little Wonder walk-behind for major clean-ups. The Little Wonder died and I was left with the decision whether to replace it with another walk-behind, or to upgrade to a high end backpack. After 3 months, I don't regret for a minute purchasing the Echo 755. This is a professional-grade blower. Obviously, it starts up flawlessly (I would expect nothing less given the small amount of hours on it so far), but it is the blower capacity that is what separates the 755 from other wannabes. It can clear my yard in less than half the time that the 300-Series takes. The downsides: It is heavy. Curb weight of 24+ lbs with another 3+lbs with a full tank, 1/2 gallon of gas, and we're talking about almost 28lbs on your back. It takes a bit of getting used to, and after an hour of blowing, your back will feel it. Plus, it's loud. Hearing protection is a must. And, lastly, it has a straight blower tube. My 300-Series has a slight bend at the end of the tube, which is very convenient to get abound obstacles, and to clear out roof gutters. A straight tube, although probably more efficient, is a bit more cumbersome. All small quibbles given the 651CFM capacity of this blower & the reliability of the Echo brand. Find it at a good price and you'll be a very satisfied customer/user. I highly recommend this piece of equipment.
