Impressed .......But
It’s neat and compact and as it’s dishwasher safe it’s a doddle to clean compared to the electric countertop models. The toastie actually is amazing in producing a really crisp golden brown sandwich with in my case the cheese perfectly melted. So far so good. The really big snag though so far is that I am as yet unable to find a slice of bread that actually fits the toastie adequately so that it is able to seal the sandwich properly. It’s caused me to try patching pieces of bread to make it work. It does (kind of) but hardly ideal. Disappointing toastie maker
Very disappointed with this device. It can make a great toastie but is very difficult to put together and a nightmare to clean. The plates that touch the sandwich have a rolled edge which is impossible to clean even in the dishwasher. This is very unhygienic and the design is majorly flawed. MICO Microwave toasted sandwichmaker
It works and no fire, as metal toasting plates are like those of a regular toasting maker. But the mico sandwich toaster makes a deliciously crucnchy, crispy, not burnt anywhere sandwich. Ive only done cheese n onion flavour and used it 2x. Wiped it out after 1st use then after 2nd use abit greasy so washed and rinsed. Cleaning a doddle u pull it apart then dry and put together follow instructions 1st couple of times. I highly recommend. What a fantastic Toastie Maker
Make your toastie & ensure you have the insides lined up so top & bottom / lines are running together. Did mine 3 mins flipped it & another 3 mins & i will attach photo of result. Gorgeous tasting crisp, hot & buttery cheese & onion toastie. Easy to clean & takes up minimal cupboard space.

Great!..tip- Turn over midway cooking to brown evenly both sides.. I do two mins, turn over one n half mins. Perfect!.. Actually toasts in microwave
Does a good job of toasting which surprised me. However it is far too big for most bread I have tried which means it doesn’t seal and cheese runs everywhere. Also gets exceptionally hot and has no handles etc to pick it up so danger of steam/contact burns.
