I've been buying these catnip toys for a few years, both for my own cats and as Christmas presents for cats owned by friends. All of the cats go absolutely bonkers in the presence of this catnip!! Kittenish behaviour is guaranteed, as is the fact that the toy will be turned into something very much like a used teabag (all the chewing and dribbling, you see) in a short while. If you're giving as a present, be sure to wrap in a couple of layers of tinfoil before applying wrapping paper, as the intended recipient will be sure to sniff it out. My friends' cat, Blakey, did this last year and spent most of the days before Christmas sleeping on a soggy, partially chewed parcel under the Christmas tree. GREAT ITEM, CAT LOVES THEM!
These are a favourite with our cat - he almost goes into a trance while playing with them!! I do feel, however, that the price could be more acceptable if the 3 little items weren't in a [lovely] embossed tin! No point at all putting these toys in such a fancy package - get rid of the [costly] tin, put them in a box and they would be down to a reasonable price for such toys. They’re mad for them
These are much smaller than I envisaged but I think that’s because they’re full of strong, high quality catnip rather than fillers. My 3 boys came through their cat with wild eyes - they could smell them immediately. They’ve been throwing them around & playing for hours with them. One of them even collapsed with exhaustion & had to have a nap before carrying on where he’d left off. My cats go 'nuts' for these! I have never seen my 3 cats so happy before when they arrive, playing for hours. Infact one of my cats smelt the catnip though the plastic bag they came in and ripped it open to get the Stinkies out! I've introduced them to my Mum, and her cat adores them too. Yes, they are slightly more expensive than your a average catnip toy, but they are worth every penny. My Cats love them
I highly recommend Stinkies (Duckyworld) products. We got a rescue cat and he bought one of the sardines with him (he wouldn't leave it alone). So after seeing this I have since bought more of these and my other cat also loves them and I have given family members presents for their own cats and every cat they come into contact with loves them. They also seem to maintain the cat nip smell for longer than other products. We have lots of cats and they all go made for these stinkies. Unlike other catnip toys they hold their smell for so much longer, so although a bit more expensive that some toys, they really are value for money.
