I was buying wild bird food from B&N for £4.00 for 12KG The Hopewells' Wild Bird food is costing £6.00 per 10KG - delivered to the door The B&N = £0.33 per kilo The Hopewells = £0.60 per Kilo So what do you get for the extra 27 pence per KG - In my opinion a lot, their is much more variation in the seeds, many more different types of seed. Not as good as it was
When I first had this seed it was good Quality but the last two bags I've had have been mostly corn the small birds don't eat it so it ends up on the floor for the pigeons and pheasants. An Excellent Mix.
This mix is excellent. No wasteage and so popular with the wild birds. I have to replenish the feeders almost daily. We live in an industrial area where the birds struggle to survive and this mix has attracted several previously "rare" visitors. I recommend this mix to anyone looking to encourage birds to their garden. It is especially popular with House Sparrows.
