Excellent quality adapter which I am using to provide sufficient clearance between a pair of heavy observation binoculars and the tripod head adjustment levers, which had been annoyingly fouling the binocular tubes. All accomplished with the addition of a 3/8 ins to 1/4ins thread adapter.... A+++++
