Like all products, this may not be for everybody. It is a premium hybrid stainless steel/non-stick pan. Even though one may be able to use metal utensils or use a knife directly on the pan, any micro abrasions will decrease the non-stick nature. Be sure to season the pan. The exposed stainless steel surfaces will need to be kept clean with steel wool or an abrasive cleanser like Bar Keepers Friend. I actually get less adherence with my Calphalon and All-Clad pans. I am hoping they come out with some saucepans in the future. Time will tell about the real life durability of this cookware.
I was impressed with the look of the pan. However, when we cooked eggs, they stuck to the pan. The egg yoke broke. the next time, we put oil in the pan the eggs stuck again. With that being said the eggs came out of the pan easily when we washed it. But we bought the pan to cook eggs. It just didn't live up to "non-stick" part
Perfect - nonstick is really non stick, heats evenly - I can't think of anything that would be an improvement - I use it every day - usually multiple times a day.
