Does it's job !
This gel was first prescribed by the vet for my cat who has sore gums/bad breath .. I definitely can't fault it because it's helped relieve the inflammation in his gums and improve his breath for sure ! I ordered this second tube online although no difference in price and that's why I give 4 stars because it's very expensive and that's it's only downfall . But when it comes to looking after our animals everything is expensive. However it does work and the main thing I found was that my cat easily took it ! In fact he loves it ! Poor design!
This gel might be perfectly good but try getting a. Flat faced Persian cat to open its mouth to administer! I can slip the applicator between his gums but then I can't see, because the tube is not clear but white, if the medication has gone onto his gum. A very simple design change would rectify that! MAKE THE APPLICATION TUBE CLEAR PLASTIC! It would save a great deal of stress to me and the cat!

Good price for a product recommended by my vet. Unfortunately my dog has bad teeth and other than having his teeth cleaned under general anaesthetic we struggle to do anything to do anything to reduce the gum recession and bad breath. It looks too sore to brush so we use this gel to reduce the bacteria. Dog likes it and is very happy to let us put this on his gums. Great stuff
This was recommended to me by a vet nurse after my two dogs had dental treatment. I gently rub a little along where their teeth meet the gums. I have been using it every day for a year or so and their teeth are really good. I have two very small dogs so I don't need to use much but I do apply it every day.
